The Sinker Guitar

Submerged in history, the wood used to make this special Woolson

Soundcraft Sinker guitar is made of entirely reclaimed old-growth

timber pulled from the depths of Lake Superior and California’s Big

River after more than 100 years of silent slumber. Sinker tops have

always been treasured for their full, rich sound, but this instrument

takes things two steps further. Not only is the century- old sinker

top melded with modern, aerospace technology to form a rich, robust

double top, but the back, sides, neck, bridge, fingerboard and even

bracing are all 100 percent domestic, reclaimed sinker wood, perfectly

preserved in the icy depths of the Great Lakes.
